Morakniv Bushcraft review

The Morakniv Bushcraft is a camp/hike knife with a 4.25 inch blade. The knife is made in Sweden of High Carbon Steel steel.

Pros

This knife comes with a ferro rod attachment, and is fairly lightweight. It holds its edge well and it’s affordable

Very ergonomic

Doesn't require a lot of upkeep

Very sharp spine for striking ferro rod

Excellent value for money, both as a first knife and for more experienced users.

Sheath is a hook so it’s easy to take off belt

Cons

This fix blade isn’t full tang, however, it’s not a deal breaker. However, it’s not a deal breaker.

Must be wiped when wet as it is susceptible to corrosion. (as most high carbon steel blades)

The hard plastic retention piece on the sheath slowly wears away rubber material on on the tip of the finger gard

You will probably want to replace the sheath before long.

Lightweight, but still durable
